Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain language, what a FunkeysForever account stores and how it is used. We try to collect as little as possible — and to be honest about it.

What we store

• Your username — the name you choose when you create an account.
• Your password — stored only as a bcrypt hash. We never store, log, or read your actual password. The game even strips any stray password text out of saved game data before storing it.
• Your game progress — coins, Loot, inventory, crib layouts, unlocked Funkeys, friends, and similar in-game state, so your account works from one session to the next.
• Basic connection information — your IP address, used to keep the game secure and to prevent abuse (for example, rate-limiting repeated failed logins). The IP address of your most recent login may be recorded for security.

How we use it

Only to run the game — to log you in, save and load your progress, connect you with other players, and keep the game fair and secure. That’s it.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your personal information.
• We don’t share it with third parties for advertising or marketing.
• There are no third-party ads, analytics, or tracking scripts.

Cookies & local storage

The game uses your browser’s local storage (and similar) only to make the game work — for example, remembering your chosen screen size and your saved-login list on this device. It is not used to track you.

Deleting your account

You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing support@funkeysforever.com.
